Broadening and sharpening of the Drude peak through antiferromagnetic fluctuations

نویسندگان

چکیده

Antiferromagnetic or charge density wave fluctuations couple with light through the recently discovered {\pi}-ton contribution to optical conductivity, and quite generically constitute dominant vertex corrections in low-dimensional correlated electron systems. Here we study arguably simplest version of these $\pi$-tons based on semi-analytical random phase approximation (RPA) ladder transversal particle-hole channel. The conductivity are calculated directly for real frequencies. We validate that RPA qualitatively reproduces Drude peak Hubbard model. Depending temperature find broaden sharpen peak.

the effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test

in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

Broadening of cortical inhibition mediates developmental sharpening of orientation selectivity.

Orientation selectivity (OS) of visual cortical neurons is progressively sharpened during development. However, synaptic circuit mechanisms underlying the OS sharpening remain unclear. In the current study, in vivo whole-cell voltage-clamp recordings from layer 4 excitatory neurons in the developing mouse primary visual cortex revealed changes of orientation tuning profiles of their excitatory ...

Antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations in CeRhSn

We have carried out Sn nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements on the quasi-Kagomé compound CeRhSn. We found that Sn Knight shift sKd is highly anisotropic and shows Curie-Weiss type temperature sTd dependence above 25 K. In this T range, the NMR relaxation rate shows s1/T1d~ÎT and is enhanced by magnetic fluctuations. At low T’s, K stays constant and the enhanced Korringa relation of sT1...

Quantum annealing with antiferromagnetic fluctuations.

We introduce antiferromagnetic quantum fluctuations into quantum annealing in addition to the conventional transverse-field term. We apply this method to the infinite-range ferromagnetic p-spin model, for which the conventional quantum annealing has been shown to have difficulties in finding the ground state efficiently due to a first-order transition. We study the phase diagram of this system ...
